Refund refused! because... why?

Hi…

Obviously hindsight’s a wonderful thing, but yes that would have been the best option, and would have let Support know you were considering opting for a refund.

Had you said something along of the lines of - you were willing to wait, but wanted confirmation in writing that you would still be able to get a refund if the issue couldn’t be resolved to your satisfaction.

Sadly, you didn’t mention anything about a refund until two months later, which is the reason the refund was rejected sadly.

So @Pete_RL

So when “support” asks your customers to “wait”, customers should respond by asking for a refund and NOT waiting etc. as asked?

Sounds like a “YES”!!!

Seems quite a “Deceptive Practice” to me!!!

btw, what “support” EXACTLY does RL claim to given me during all this??? and please don’t say my hardware (proving over and over again that I’m above spec is not supportive).

Deceptive Practice" (specifically, fraudulently inducing purchase/avoiding refund through stalling) which violates the Federal Trade Commission Act (FTC Act) 15 U.S.C. § 45(a)(1): “Unfair methods of competition in or affecting commerce, and unfair or deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce, are hereby declared unlawful.”

@keaganwilliams I don’t think you’ll get another response by posting some paragraphs. Either you take a lawyer or get a refund through your payment provider.

@keaganwilliams

I have explained the reasons to you several times now, but you keep posting the same thing over and over so I think it’s time to close this topic. There is no point going round and round in circles.

The bottom line is that we offer a 14 day money back guarantee, but you didn’t mention or request a refund for two months. This is the reason for refusing the refund as explained to you by Support. I understand this is frustrating to hear, but that is the decision Customer Support has made.

However, if you do wish to discuss anything else, or would like to take advantage of our technical support team, then please feel free to contact Support again and they will help you.
