I’d played with the buttons, binged the tutorials, even asked the pros for tips. But the honeymoon phase was over. It was time to see if I could actually make my very first 3D actor, built from scratch in Character Creator 4 and Blender.

What followed was equal parts frustration, small victories, and one very goofy cartoon named Carl. Here’s how I went from clicking aimlessly to creating a character that finally felt like mine.

Creating Cartoon characters in CC is way easier (and way more fun too :wink: because they dont need to match so much as human images require . I use Headshot a lot for that.
