Thank you for your kind reply to my post. Since posting, I discovered if I use the world select tool that the props and avatar move separately instead of together. So I think this may have been my mistake in using the wrong selection tool to move objects. But if you can more enlightenment I will glady receive it. Thanks again.

Sounds like you were using the Camera transform tools instead of the Object transform tools. Moving the camera would give the effect that all objects/characters are moving together.
