I’ve made characters in Character Creator and sent them to iClone, where they become iClone Project files. The problem is that I don’t know how to put the characters into other projects. Perhaps the answer is to convert them into iClone Avatar files, like the ones that came free in my Character file. If so, how can I do this? Or are there other ways?
When you use Send to iClone the character is loaded into whatever project is currently in iClone. From there, you simply select your character and save it as iAvatar.
I usually use the Save as iAvatar option in CC. It gives you a bit more control as to the texture sizes of the various textures that are part of the character.
