Hi everyone,
I’m really interested in using GoZ to pose Zbrush characters to use in a comic book similar to what is shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=um-Q_HaGJPs&pp=ygUeemJydXNoIGNoYXJhY3RlIGNyZWF0b3IgcG9zaW5n
Are there any in-depth tutorials on this process? I’m comfortable in Zbrush, Character Creator 4, Marvelous Designer and Blender. But not really sure how to do this based on what I’ve seen in the video.
What’s the best way to do this?
Should I send a CC4 character model to Zbrush via GoZ, then model the details using subdivision levels (making sure not to change the topology too drastically.) Add any clothing and accessories to the character in Zbrush. Again, use subdivision levels with good topology on accessories and clothing that are going to be deformed (clothing, footwear). Then GoZ the model back to CC4 and rebind the skeleton to the model and set the skin weights?
Or if I’m working form a CC4 base model that I go GoZ’d over, do I not need to rebind the skeleton?
Last, can I use FaceTools in CC4 to change the expression on this character’s face in Zbrush?
EDIT: One more question for now. Sorry. When should I add thickness to my fabric? Should I do it in Zbrush once the character is posed? Should I do it after I have clean topology for my fabric or should I retopo after adding thickness?
Thank you for any help or additional information.
