3D characters built using face photos have issues in skin colour

I created a 3D character of an actual person using face photos following the steps below.

  1. Import the face photos into the Keentools FaceBuilder add-on in Blender and build the source mesh and the texture of the head.
  2. Export both into Character Creator v4.3 with Headshot v2.0.
  3. Refine the CC Mesh of the head in the Mesh to Head tool and attach to a body.

I have several issues with the generated character. They are as below and you can see them in the screenshots.

  1. The skin colour of the face and neck does not match the body.
  2. The skin on the neck has artefacts from the original face photos.
  3. There’s a missing patch on top of the head.

Do you know how I can fix these issues?

I have attached 2 screenshots of the Photo Diffuse in the Headshot tool and the Material (Std_Skin_Head).

Thanks in advance for your help. If you can’t help but know a place or a person who can help me, please direct me there.

This shouldnt happen, have you used Diffuse from Source Mesh when attaching to a body ?
Use Mask Type 1,2,3 or 4 for a test.

i could imagine if you use Project from Image and “No Mask” this could happen. Not shure.

That little black hole, are you shure the source mesh didnt have that already ? Not shure what happens if the source mesh had that already. Looks like some missing faces. Thats easy to fix though, just edit the diffuse map in photoshop and use a stamp to copy a few pixels from the sourounding hair onto that hole.
